THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU GMBH has been continuously active since 2002 at the internationally renowned Gotthard Base Tunnel construction site in Switzerland. While the initial focus was on the construction and outfitting of the approximately 800-meter-deep Sedrun II shaft, the company subsequently provided numerous additional services to local tunnel construction firms. Now that the main work on the Gotthard Base Tunnel has been completed, THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU remains active in Switzerland.
