Dismantling the shaft tower.
After successfully completing the backfilling work in shaft 6 at Concordia colliery last year, the former shaft tower has now been dismantled.
This work was carried out in sections by means of firing work. The individual segments burned in this way were brought safely to the ground with the help of a crane. The entire dismantling process was carried out from top to bottom in the steps shown.
