THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU has established an electrical training centre to provide our electricians and electrical supervisors with practical, specialist knowledge in the fields of material handling technology and shaft signalling systems.
The training programme is based on real-world plant conditions and covers functional checks, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing and parameterisation of electrical components.
1. Shaft signalling systems and speed monitoring:
Design and function of speed monitoring systems
Parameterisation and calibration of sensors and evaluation units
Simulation and analysis of error messages and faults
Comparison of different manufacturers’ parameters (e.g. Pepper & Fuchs and IFM)
2. Camera surveillance systems:
📷 Design and operation of industrial camera systems
📷 Adjustment of focus, field of view and exposure for conveyor systems
📷 Commissioning of video surveillance (analogue / IP-based)
📷 Troubleshooting signal transmission and image interference
📷 Checking the power supply, cabling and network connection
